It's safe to exhale, friends: Two Gun Pete, out of circulation for the better part of the last week, has surfaced. It turns out that his computer, a rare 20th century Flahtnik 200
("Flahtnik...the pride of Albania") broke down and rendered him incommunicado. Apparently the main bearing on the steam drive froze, and had to be bicycle messengered acrosse Eastern Europe from the Flahtnik warehouse in Shkoder
(slogan : "Visit Shkoder--Just 48 km to the Adriatic!").
Anyway, Pete's back, and we didn't 100% suck last week. Our other two wagers were on Ga Tech, a 2 star winner, and NIU, a one star winner.
This week things wil improve. With the techno stars of Shkoder behind us, we expect nothing. Nothing
less, that should be. Need to brush up on my Albanian.
