In Saturday's Red River Rivalry game, I picked Oklahoma -9 1/2. From the instant I pushed the button, I've been uncomfortable. Popular opinion supported the choice, as the spread went to 10 1/2. I grew more uncomfortable.
I decided to scratch the itch: I've doubled back and selected Texas + 10 1/2. The 'Horns are on an upward arc, and last week they handily beat a very good Oklahoma State team. This week's game is in Dallas, in the Cotton Bowl, and I think Texas is going to stay inside the spread.
Nirvana would be a 10 point OK win, but let's don't get greedy.
UPDATE: HAHAHA!!!
