In Pursuit of Perfection

Several teams have arrived at Week 7 seeking to preserve their perferct seasons.  Succinctly:

LSU is 6-0. They will be 7-0 after this weekend, and they will have done it ATS.

The lighthouse at Ponce Inlet, just a
bit south of Daytona, FL.  There is
no connection to today's selections,
Ponce Inlet is simply a place that I
like.  A lot.

***  OKLAHOMA -33 1/2 @ KANSAS
Saturday 8:15 ESPN2
Oklahoma is 5-0. They will be 6-0 after this weekend, and they, too, will have done it ATS.


** OHIO STATE +4 @ ILLINOIS
Saturday  2:30 ABC
Illinois is 6-0.  They, unlike the two "and 0's" listed above, will not find their dalliance with perfection extended through the weekend. 



*  IOWA STATE @ MISSOURI -15

I was sorely tempted to continue to highlight the unbeatens, but I came across this matchup of 3-2 @ 2-3.  I like Iowa State in general.  I think that Missouri, playing at home and based on its performance against a superior schedule, should be just fine for us.
